Wonderfully light and airy, the Featherlight Shawl is an easy knit and a versatile accessory. Drape it over your shoulders, tie it like a kerchief, or wrap as a scarf. We couldn't resist using Knitting for Olive Pure Silk to create a slinky, summery version of our Featherlight Shawl.Ā  As its name says, this fingering-weight yarn is made from pure bourette silk, which transforms upon blocking to create a deliciously drapey fabric with subtle sheen.Ā 

KitĀ includes:Ā  Featherlight Shawl pattern andĀ 2 balls of Knitting for Olive Pure Silk
Skills Required:Ā Knit, make 1 increase, cast on, bind off
Pattern: Included. Featherlight Shawl by Beehive Wool Shop
Needles and Notions:Ā Purchased Separately.

  • 3.75-4.00mm (US 5-6) 60-100 cm (24-40 in) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
